our board rules clearly state the following:

This is not a notice-board, but a full fledged discussion forum. I don't care how grand a collection or an item for sale might be: this section is for board members, who are willing to introduce themselves and participate elsewhere on the board and actually do so.
Simple sale entries here will be removed without further notice from now on. Warnings will be issued as well.
This doesn't affect regular members!
